The fourth in a series of five corrective, healing workshops, Healing My Inner Elementary-aged Child supports participants to work through wounding related to feelings of competence, confidence, doing things well, fitting in, being part of a group, and more. Participants will explore their personal experiences and what “got in”. Intensive corrective healing exercises with the above topics will be utilized. Group and interactive exercises are part of this workshop.
Important note: This workshop is a safe space to offer yourself corrective, healing experiences; to increase your understanding of your own developmental wounding and healing needs, and to do this in a relational way with others. It can be scary, but just remember, it’s usually scary for everyone!
Psycho-education, personal reflection, toy work, inner child work and sharing are part of this workshop as well. Subtle body energy healing will be utilized throughout the workshop.
It’s a good match for: People who know they have wounding from ages 7-11 and want to do healing work in a group setting. People who are drawn to the workshop and want to explore themes of competence, confidence, self-esteem, comfort as a part of a group, and a sense of “fitting in”. Please note: This workshop will be evocative for most people. Please email Alison with any questions, concerns or to get help deciding if this workshop is a good match for you at this time on your healing journey.
